ABOUT US
The Anoka County Public Safety Peer Support (ACPSPS) team was founded in 1990 by a group of dedicated Anoka County public safety service providers who recognized the need for emotional and mental health support throughout all disciplines in public safety. This group has provided professional emotional and mental wellness services for countless emergency service providers in and around Anoka County. The ACPSPS team offers large and small group debriefings and defusings for all public safety agencies as well as one-on-one emotional health support available to every public safety responder in Anoka County.
The ACPSPS group is an approved 501.c.3 organization led by a board of directors who are driven to provide the highest level of mental health and wellness services to Anoka County emergency responders. The ACPSPS team serves under the guidance of a licensed professional counselor who specializes in public safety mental health and wellness.
